This beer is Belgian tripel; it’s the version that defines the style. It’s light in color, has a gorgeous rocky, white crown and is simply a pleasure to look at. Overall: A very enjoyable Tripel. It didn’t have the typical earthy spicy tones I associate with classic Tripels.
Maybe my favorite Tripel, rivaled only by Kasteel. Malty, sweet, just the right bit of spice, a near-perfect beer.
An excellent beer that exemplifies the style. Fantastic aroma and Belgian yeastiness with a crisp, effervescent finish.
